I am a certified Personal Trainer with NASM and created EHF with the goal of helping people to become stronger and more confident versions of themselves through health and fitness. My personal journey started after college and I was no longer dancing on the dance team at Texas State University. I got a desk job and stopped being active. I always danced and didn’t “need” to workout. I gained weight.
I started to run. I ran races and a half marathon. I fell in love with the way being active made me feel. I began to read, study and learn how to strength train. I had a goal that one day I would do a bodybuilding competition. I hired a trainer and made a commitment to myself. The journey wasn’t linear…I had success, I struggled, progressed, had setbacks…but I never gave up. I achieved my goals and continued to set new ones. There was a moment when I looked in the mirror and thought “wow, you have come so far” and I felt amazing.
I knew I needed to help others to feel the same. I relate to a lot of clients because I’ve been in their shoes. The feeling of needing
to make a change to the roller coaster of actually implementing that change to realizing how strong and capable I am. It’s important to me that my clients feel they can make health and fitness a lifestyle and I will work with each client to determine what that looks like for them.
